How it Works in American Dad

Play American Dad on a five-reel board with 40 paylines. These paylines are fixed, meaning we cannot turn them on and off as we please. Instead, wins are formed by collecting three or more identical symbols in adjacent positions. These icons must follow one of the currently active paylines, and start with the leftmost reel. We really like how Playtech designed the control panel for this game. Look at the paytable, adjust your bet, toggle Turbo Mode and Auto Play and spin the reels. American Dad symbol designs are something we have mixed feelings on. As fans of the show, we like seeing all the characters make a return. However, Playtech does not attach any cool animations to them when they form a winning combination. If you want more funny moments with them, you have to play the special features. There are only three playing card royals: A, K and Q, which are coloured red, blue and white, respectively. Keep an eye out for the alien Wild, as it is the most valuable icon on the board!

Bonus Rounds

To win any of the five available special features, you need the Schmooblydong wheel to land on reels one, three and five. The first reel determines which character’s bonus will be played, reel three powers up the special feature, and reel five awards a number of free spins.

The Verdict

We were pleasantly surprised to play a Playtech release on slot sites that does not have a progressive jackpot.
