However, Batman also had not one, but several Robins who assisted him, who would go on to become superheroes in their own right. Their stories, while interesting, are not the focus of this slot. Instead, Batman & the Batgirl Bonanza focuses on Barbara Gordon, one of Batman’s closest allies! Join this crime-fighting duo and save Gotham city from the many villains that plague it. The graphics are okay. Nothing that will blow your mind, but they have an undeniable charm to them. This game does not use the modern, gritty Batman universe. It is set in the Adam West era, where silly spandex costumes and silly plots reigned supreme! The background image is a single colour, with a few barely legible patterns imposed on it. It looks nice, though we do wish the developers put a bit more detail into it. Symbols look nice, especially Batman, Robin and Batgirl! All icons come with a minor animation that plays after a win occurs. Put it all together, and it creates a gorgeous style that is unique to Playtech’s Batman series.

Credit where it is due, the developers really knocked it out of the park! We do not have any major complaints regarding this Playtech release. More animations would be nice, sure. The unique way the reels are structured takes some getting used to. Nevertheless, the way Batman & the Batgirl Bonanza handles its theme is something we really enjoyed! It offers a 96% RTP, several fun special features, and a chance to win the progressive jackpot.
